"The Yola floor and table lights (1989) are among jack Woolley's first lighting designs and are made by the London based manufacturing company he established with David Edgerley in 2000. Radiating a soft ambient Light, they have a remarkably straightforward construction - a cornet of parchment-like polypropylene sheet resting on a simple metal base - that gives them a strong and visually appealing sculptural presence.  Easy to assemble and inexpensive to manufacture, the Yola lights have an unpretentiousness and simplicity that meshes with our increasingly nomadic lives." (Charlotte Fiell/Peter Fiell)
